I just finished the red wedding, I am so [censored] pissed off right now, George Martin kills off literally every [censored] character that I like. I don't even want to finish the book and it makes me want to forget about even watching the show. Seriously Robb dead? Arya dead? I just read 600 some odd pages for no [censored] reason. It's just [censored]. Is there even any point in reading the rest of the book or the rest of the series? Is it just going to keep pissing me off? The starks now have no hope. He likes to leave the [censored] characters like Sansa and Joffrey alive whilst killing all of the best. Come on, I thought Robb had a good chance of actually doing something, instead he just dies and his entire army gets wiped out, the [censored] Lannisters win again. I hate it, I hate it so [censored] much. I want to just rip the book into little tiny pieces and burn it.

I can't remember the exact details, but Martin does make it look very much like Arya died at one point (I think when the Hound smacks her to the head with an axe?). But if I recall correctly, you learn in the next chapter already that she survived with just a headache.

Ohh yeah, I remember the axe hit. But it wasn't to kill her, just knock her out/stop her from running since she'd have likely killed herself running into the Twins. When I read it I never got the impression she died or was fatally wounded. The Hound seems to like the Stark girls so I doubt he'd have tried to kill her at any point unless she tried it first.

You're absolutely right. But when I was just hit by a post-Red Wedding depression, it was very difficult to keep up the positive thoughts.
