Dueling?

So we know that world PvP is out and I don't want to start a discussion about that. But what about Dueling? I really enjoyed that in SWOTR I could challenge anyone to a duel (of course they could decline).

I think the ability for members of the same faction to duel in ESO would be great. It would be a way to practice and hone skills. It would allow for bragging rights. It would allow for great RP opportunities.

In particular I'd love the ability to challenge members of rival guilds in my same faction. Like a battle between guild leaders to see who's the "best" (all in good fun of course.) I'm running a Hlaalu guild and I know there is a Redoran and a Telvanni guild as well. Feuds between the Houses would be great.

So do we know if dueling is in the game? Do you want it? Why or why not?

I have nothing against dueling for those that enjoy it, I always decline, most of the time I am in the middle of doing something or the person that wants to duel is 20 levels above me, I do use dueling in other games with my friends to test new weapons or skills.. I do not see the harm in having it, could also be used by those that rp as well. I think it has a place in most online games.

I hope so, can't have a barfight in the tavern without making it a fancy dual.
