Sonic now a Nintendo exclusive

Post » Fri May 17, 2013 9:44 pm

Nintendo and Sega have entered a new partnership. Sonic Team, along with the Sonic games themselves, will become an exclusive developer for Nintendo's consoles. Nintendo will also be supporting Sonic Team and offering quality control on their games. Whilst Nintendo offering aid to Sega may result in some great games, I am actually rather upset. I really hate the Wii U as a console, so having it only available on a platform which I dislike is a real shame. What does everyone else think, however?

That's...pretty dumb.

Nintendo is losing a great deal of profit, now being forced to stay on a set of dying console...

Eh, the sonic games haven't released anything decent since Sonic Adventure 2:Battle. It's hardly a loss in my eyes (as I most likely wont be getting a wii u). Sonic was an exclusive for sega back in the day, before sega stopped making consoles, so I imagine it will be just like back then.

Sorry, but you're wrong. Sonic Generations and Sonic Colours were both great.
