http://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2013/05/23/5-7-earthquake-hits-northern-california/ (with http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/map/, that is).
Now, this one traveled FAR. I am in https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=wl, epicenter is in https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=wl, and waves of people in https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=wl and around the valley felt it, reporting in to newsrooms.
No damage in the outer areas around me and Sac that felt it but obviously the TV had people living in the epicenter that are just in awe and report that stuff is on the ground and things swaying.
Earlier, I felt my chair move as if someone was gently pushing it forward a few times, but I thought it was my chair just being old. Then my mother comes downstairs from upstairs saying that her closet was moving.
Anyone else in the area feel that?
As for the others, have you ever been through a earthquake? (big or small, doesn't matter).
EDIT: Sorry about the Google map links, I don't know why they didn't work. Basically, this baby traveled far.
