Anybody here left handed?

Post » Sat May 25, 2013 10:12 pm

So, I'm left handed, but I do everything else with my right hand. All I do is write left-handed, but I do everything else normal.

I remember about three years ago, I held a gun left handed, where the rifle butt would be on my left shoulder. But after I got nerve damage two years ago in my right arm, I had to change sides. Now, strangely enough, I find it easier to do more things with both arms after learning to rely on one and not the other for a year. For computer mouses/ keyboards I'm ambidextrous, for a gun I'm right handed and a bow and arrow I'm left handed.

So, anybody else left handed? And are you like me, where different things you use different hands? I ask because sometimes it actually gets pretty confusing, like when I grab something to use it and I can't help but think "Is this right? Should it be the other hand...?" Weird, I know. :P

I'm sinister through and through.

I do most stuff with my left hand, even if it's right-handed tools like scissors. Completely mouse-ambidextrous though.

I'm left handed, I write left-handed, I kick left-footed, eat left-handed, but everything else I do with my right hand. So you are not alone AWOL Ryan.

I also lightsaber battled with my left hand but it has been years I swear...

I'm left handed. Tend to only use my right hand more for my computer mouse.

Left Handed. I tend to do most things that way too, with the exception of my mouse. Back when I still drank, I would drink right handed, although that way likely because my left hand was already being used for my smokes.

An old friend of mine once told me I was wrong handed, I responded by saying that at least I was in my right mind. :hehe:

Oh, hey, wow, another edit by me.

I just found this little thing online a minute ago http://lefthanded.cdf-design.com/test/html_test.php

I'm left-handed and I've had to use left-handed specific things before too, but there are a few things that I use with my right hand like my mouse as mentioned.

I'm ambidextrous. I am naturally left handed, but I was taught to write with my right hand because people said I did it the wrong way. Nowadays I do most things with my left hand, with the exception of writing, using the computer mouse and when I throw stuff, although I have no problems using both. I also play the guitar with the standard way, because lefty guitars are troublesome.

I write with my left hand, but use my right for most other things, but not everything.

Nice one.

Edit: Turns out with that test you just posted I'm weakly left handed.

Left handed, write with left hand, mouse with right hand, everything else alternates.

I scored 13 on that test, probably because as a lefty living in a right handed world for the last 40+ years, I've picked up a few of their nasty, backwards habits. :swear:

Write with my right hand.

Use the mouse with my right hand.

Bat with my left hand.

Kick with my right foot.

Start my sprints off with my right foot.

Also if I were to drive, I would be using my right hand.

I'm predominant with my right hand, but there are some things that I can only do with my left hand. With my left hand I hold a strawberry in the air and cut into it with my right hand. There's more power in my left hand, but my right hand has more dexterity.

Given that the keypad is on the right side on most keyboards, having the mouse on the left side is AWESOME because it allows you to have everything more centered.

Though I personally constantly swap depending on my mood

With writing I'm left handed.. the rest of my life is a balanced mix between left and right handed, with some things ambidextrous.

Left handed, but can use mouse, scissors ect. with both (had a time where using my right hand for the mouse started to cause me pain so I decided to switch around a bit, which worked).

Regarding my feet, I'm slightly better (at football, the soccer kind...) with right, but only slightly.

The only downside to being left handed is that you have to think about where you're going to sit in a crowded restaurant, if there is a right-handed person to my left, we both run out of elbow space.

That's why I never let a righty sit to my left in a restaurant.

Oh, and those damned school desks were a PITA to work with...as well as Erasermates. I used to get blue hands, and smeared ink all over the place using those infernal things.

Left handed.

You know that joke for right handed people that mastvrbate on the computer and use their left hand for the mouse and right for their [censored]?

There's this pic with the keyboard and mouse switched with a caption that reads "Problem solved." My friends all showed it to me, but needless to say, I didn't get it.

Im left handed and do everything with my left hand except using scissors (and computer mice). Scissors are such that by using them left handedly, they don't work as well. Even if they aren't shaped. The two blades are pushed apart with the left hand and pushed together with the right. Some things are too hard to cut with my left hand and I'm steadier with my right.

a thread full of demons...the left hand is the devil :P

I'm righty but I do some things with my left...namely something that can't be named here but it involves personal time with me and myself quietly getting better acquainted
