3D technology on the Xbox One

Post » Thu May 30, 2013 9:46 am

I'm going to purchase a TV soon and I wanted to know if anyone has knowledge of the new Xbox One supporting 3D games? I was thinking earlier of going with just a normal 1080p LED but now I'm thinking should I go with a LED 3D ready TV? I am also buying a home theater receiver soon as well and was wondering the same thing, should I buy a 3D ready one? Anyone know if this makes any sense? Thanks

If it does it'll be implemented by the developers of the games themselves. I.e , a game will support 3D if, and only if, the developer decides to add it.

And with how several developers are targeting 30FPS for next gen, 3D is highly unlikely as you want the game to be able to run the game at 60FPS for 30FPS 3D.

Thanks that's helpful.

And to the other poster I know about E3 and I'm hoping it will answer other questions. Thanks
