who would win? i think they the romulons, federation, and the klingon empire would hold thier own. giving all there techs they might be able to build the crucible and end up destroying the reapers but the lost wold still be great

Star Trek. The Mass Effect Universe requires Relays to reach FTL speeds. Star Trek does not.

Mass Effect is like 120 years technology wise behind Star Trek. That includes Reapers.

This is false. The Reapers made it from outside of the galaxy to the nearest relay within two months. Relay's are just preferred for various other reasons.

The posts are long gone now, but a person calculated how far into dark space the Reapers would be at the end of Mass Effect 2 if they could see that much of it. It turns out... very very very far. And they traversed it without a gate in two months. Depending on the numbers they may or may not be faster than the Trek ships. Probably faster. It also makes sense from a logic perspective, they needed to place the relay's all over the galaxy. So how did they do it without relays if that was the only method?

I can't compare any more than this since I am not familiar with Trek weaponry/defensive technology. All I know is the Reapers accelerate metal at such high speeds it appears to be a laser. It's actually molten metal of some kind that cuts and destroys the ship. Almost like a lightsaber.
