This is a continuation of the original thread, a link of which is here: http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1461208-next-generation-consoles/

Nothing to add at the moment, just starting the second thread for now.

I still have not seen anything that would be worth the amount of money they will want for them. I could change my mind in the future but as of right now I do not want any of them.

As for the price, I won't touch any of them until the first price reduction, barring of course a lottery win, or a sudden inheritance from a rich relative who loved me when I was a kid and hasn't seen me since ^^ $500 is to much for any gaming console(with the exception of a computer, but those are more then just for games). $250-$350 is where I'd be willing to go.

I definitely will not be buying either right away. I'll wait until a price reduction, and hopefully Sony will put some discounts on PS3 games to hold me over. I've missed out on a lot of the PS3 exclusives, the PS4 release might be the perfect time to get them.

My Microsoft rep came in on Wednesday fielding questions and feedback on the One for pre E3. I told her it looked like trash and she gave me 1600 MSP. Mind blown.

I dont even own a TV, so a console is out of the question off the bat. But that aside, I honestly dont see anything a console offers that My PC doesn't already provide and/or excel at. Sure they have their exclusive games, but PC has its share and more then enough to keep me occupied. And the money it would cost to buy a new console and a game or 2 to get started, I would rather spend that on computer upgrades and cheaper games.

Sniff, sniff, what's wrong with my poll? It's pretty much the same as the other, except I added steambox and PC/screw console. I could add an option for "more then one" I guess.... I'm so sad, Imma have to go sit in a corner and cry for the rest of the night.

lol This. Ah, I see the more than one option was added.

Anyways, I have a PC, Wii U, PS3, and a Vita. So I'm good to go. Though I'm most likely going to be selling my Vita. I beat Persona 4 Golden, and there's not much else I'm interested in.

I may pick up a PS4 for JRPG exclusives, but that'd be years down the line when there are several available, and after numerous price cuts.
