Anyone know of another game with real time combat like TES Online will have?

Thanks in advance.

Tera, GW2, Neverwinter, sure there's others but those are just the few off the top of my head.

Chivalry is similar, and pretty fun

None of those looked as good as I wanted.

Mount & Blade? Dishonored? Dark Messiah of Might and Magic? Skyrim?

I'm talking about online games.

Mount and Blade never appealed to me. Dishonored was not good in my opinion. Will look up DMoMaM. Skyrim is single player, already got it.

Mount & Blade is online. Look up cRPG for Warband. :P

But the real answer is - if you're solely looking for MMOs - there are none quite like TESO. Conan does have some active combat, as does Guild Wars 2, and Aion too (but the game is rubbish.)

Dungeons and Dragons Online is kind of a hybrid in terms of how active combat is--While physically dodging won't necessarily make arrows or many spells miss, you do have to actively block to get the benefits of blocking and anyone can block for at least some defensive benefit. I haven't played it for a few months, but I enjoyed the time I spent with it. YMMV.

Turbine has really screwed that game up recently, although I suppose the lower levels are probably relatively unaffected. The good news for the OP is that it is free to play, and has very few restrictions through the low levels. So worth a try, I guess, but don't expect to find the end game engaging; there isn't one anymore.

Star Trek Online is all real time combat, even if you don't like Star Trek you will still enjoy it

Oh, and there is one game which is king above all others for massive, online, real-time strategic combat: ArmA2 with a dedicated community (see: ShackTactical, for example.)

Planetside 2 might come as a distant - though still worthy - second.

I think he wants a WoW type game but with real-time combat like TESO is going to be.
