I thought this might be an interesting point of discussion:
Would you be able to cope playing TESO without the use of an enemy health indicator and/or a crosshair?
Take into consideration for the sake of fair play that you cannot make a UI element in LUA to get around it.
I've played Skyrim now for some time without the use of enemy health or a crosshair and I've found myself adapting far better than what I thought i would. It's made me think twice about risking not using health potions especially along with stamina potions during a fight simply because I don't exactly know how close to death my enemy is, as a result I don't end up "zerging" fights half as much as I used to. Fighting dragons also has made me play a little more defensively and smarter.
Making do without a crosshair as well has put in a bit more a challenge because I can get a pretty good idea of where my shot will be aimed at specially when pulling the bow back. Granted that in TESO such an option would be less of a handicap since there is no air travel for arrows or bolts.
What do you think? Do you think you'd find it more fun to play or just annoying not to have it? Do you think it would impact play styles overall?
