http://www.gamespot.com/e3/a-tale-of-two-worlds-archeage-and-the-elder-scrolls-online-6410289/

It's unfair to judge a large-scale game meant to be played for hundreds of hours in the space of 40 minutes, of course. But even a massively multiplayer online role-playing game can reveal a lot in a short time. Is the basic combat enjoyable? Is the setting inviting? Is it fun to move about the world? The Elder Scrolls Online had a chance to make an impression this week, but it failed to do so. The demo felt old, uninspired, and clumsy, and most damningly, it was boring. So boring, in fact, that I struggle to find much to say about it and am not particularly inspired to know any more.

ArcheAge and Elder scroll online are not really comparable, but if we do its sure that Archeage wins right know

Complexity in ArcheAge is great and if my Korean would be any better i would still play it, its a great game and im waiting for a release in Europe. Its really rare to have that much freedom in a MMO as in ArcheAge.

Elder Scroll Online i cant really tell, i never played it and the Info we have right know are still not that much.

Right know we should not compare this two MMO'S

It's one of the rare previews that are bad. But it's a fair opinion, because he explained why.

But it's still an opinion. On reason I tend to not like ArcheAge that much are the asian design choices.

For me it just feels too colorful and childish, Immersion is missing.

On the other hand I think it is totally fair to compare ArcheAge and ESO.

They definitely ARE competitors and they have to show their advantages and disadvanteges.

Even as a TES really devoted fan, I will definitely try ArcheAge for myself and we will see...

I agree that he's backed up his opinion... just it seems contradictory. Most previews I'm reading love the combat, and say it feels just like TES combat. He's saying it feels clunkier than Neverwinter (which felt clunky as hell to me).

Well the reviews that said it was just like TES combat were right and so is this guy. TES combat has allways been clunky, not connecting and louzy animated.

Everything he critcized could also be said about the single player TES games. If he's not interested in them, fine. By its fifth iteration, the novelty of TES games has surely worn off. Hadn't it been for dragons, most people would have shown Skyrim a cold shoulder. But for people who love the games, it's just right.

As for ArcheAge, nothing spikes my interest besides the pretty graphics.

Well, I rarely progress the main quest in Skyrim to a point where I start seeing dragons and I love the game.

And what comes to ArchAge, I got no interest whatsoever to play that game. And purely because of the Asian style design. I just can't stand them.

The game might be awesome and all but it's definitely not the game for me.

Not going to take anything seriously from a grown man who finds such enjoyment in the MMORPG equivalent of K-Pop.
