I've been a PC gamer for years and its way past time to upgrade the computer I have. I've been comparing the PS4 to PCs and from what ive seen the PS4 is little more than a prebuilt computer with the name play station attached. But getting down to the question from the pictures I've seen the PS4 will have 2 USB ports.

So my question is if the PS4 has the same components that a PC has the only major difference is it allows controller usage why can't Zenimax allow for M/K usage on the PS4 and controller usage on the PC/Mac and/or do more balancing on both sides to allow them on the same server with out there being a noticeable stand out and allow them to be on one server?

Separating us based on what type of machine we play on at least in terms of the next gen consoles and PCs is pretty much stupid when you can compared the components in a console to the components in a PC.

Also separating people based on what they play on causes more harm than good because

1. Eso said they were trying to bring MMO players and RPG players together (or at least lessen the gap) by bringing the elder scrolls online, but by making the servers restrictive to what kind of machine your playing on it really doesn't affect the gap that is there.

2. Because most MMOs are string to make their games for the PS4/Xbox One as well as the PC and the PS4/Xbox One is cheaper than having a computer built most PC players are looking towards the consoles because they are cheaper than having a PC made. However they will still have friends who will still play on the PC and because they went with the console they wont be able to play with them,

3. Currently it looks like accounts are going to have to be able to change servers because of the people who want to play on both the PC and the PS4. If there's only one server this makes things a lot easier in terms of logging in. Its also less work that has to be done to code a system that allows this.

4. I'm sure we've all played with the little trolls using Xbox live and PS3 voice chat this is one of the reasons I want to be allowed to pick server I play on instead of being forced on to one server with them.

5. On the other side of that I also want to be able to pick which server I'm on based on which one my friends are playing on no be restricted because i do or don't play on a certain type of machine.

6. If there is ever a reason for on of the servers to drop in population (Xbox...) there is no way to get players who use other machines on that server. So players left on that server suffer.
