Finesse System can be griefed by other players?

Hi, today I was reading the topic "Is ESO for you?", here is the link - http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1462492-is-eso-for-you/

In the last posts, I could see a link where leads to the video "Elder Scrolls Online Not An MMO?", here is the link - http://www.gamebreaker.tv/video-game-shows/this-week-in-mmo-show/elder-scrolls-online-mmotwimmo-147/

Well, I saw the video and there was 3 persons talking about the game based on statements of Matt Firor. When they started talking about the finesse system, if I understood well (because I could missunderstand them), they started saying that the finesse system does not reward the player if they are in group and when the player are outside of group (in ESO counts like if they were in group when 2 players are near each other), you can do a parry to stop a heavy attack of your enemy and then you could do your heavy attack and that would reward you, but if there some1 comes you can lose your finesse if they do the same thing to the same enemy while you battling agains't that enemy. They explained that when other player do that your finesse resets, so you won't get extra loot and extra exp/alliance points because your alliance player stole that from you, that for me is griefing. You can get your finesse when you are alone, but when you are with other players or you are in group you wont get any kind of finesse unless they steal from you.

Is that true? If yes, then what it is the reason to play with others? I don't know if the guys of the video could speculate or saying something completly wrong, dunno, but I didn't find anything that can prove me anything, or maybe I didn't understood at all. They start talking about the finesse system at 00:27:08.

I hope can prove this as wrong information with a link to the correct info.

Sorry for my bad engrish, I hope you could understand, if not I can try elaborate the best way I can.

I don't know if they touched on this in the video..but you get bonuses for grouping in lieu of finesse

I think it's pure speculation. I never got why this would have to be like that. Sure, if the mob dies, your finesse isn't fully powered (or however you wanna call it), but

why should an attack of sb else stop your finesse?

I felt like this is pure speculation and I didn't get the rambling those guys are doing. It feels like they just want to scream about something to show how elite they are...

(I watched the show several times and that bothered me everytime.)

Again: The guys at Zenimax showed many times they aren't stupid. If there is something obviously problematic in gameplay they will fix it.

I hope at least your finesse doesn't reset while you are in group or while you near other players, even if that is in pvp, pve or outside of the instances, or else I don't see the point of playing with other players in the same world. At least don't reset.

I really hope you are right. I trust in the ppl of Zenimax, they are experienced ppl, but sometimes they can do something wrong, they are humans like us, that is normal, but I dont know, I just hope the guys of the video are totally wrong about that.

While people that want to grief others will always find ways to do it, another thing that ZOS has stated as a design goal is that there's no penalty for helping or being helped by people not in your group; if I'm fighting an ogre by myself and you happen upon me and join in the fight (without grouping), supposedly we both get rewards for beating the ogre--This is to encourage us to help each other out, even if we're not affiliated beyond being in the same alilance. Something that causes one or both of us to lose out would work against that goal.

I won't comment on the finesse system until I can at least see it in action, but if it works against the "everyone gets rewarded for taking part", then ZOS needs to be more clear on which method they're actually favoring.
