Solo'ing Vegas. How do I do it?

Post » Wed Jun 19, 2013 9:24 am

This is probably the wrong place to ask but I have been surprised before.

I find myself in the unique and fortunate oppurtunity to be staying at a very nice Hotel in Las Vegas (kind of shockingly high quality really, bit uncomfortable for a country bumpkin like myself that views Honolulu as their basis for a big city, read; out of my element) on account of someone I know getting a reward. Yet the someones I am going with are not anywhere near my age, nor are they of a similar mien to myself. Basically not drinking, gambling, partying or wingman material for me. This wouldn't be much of a problem except I am also sharing a room with them.

So I have no friends here to be my wingman, I can try to solo Vegas but I have no option for a place to come back to for uhm... 'Bringsibacksies stuff', nor any real friends to watch my back. I guess the Irony is killing me here. Best place to party. I don't know where to start. First night here and I haven't slept in forever. Maybe I just jeed to sleep on it. It is like 5am here. But they say Vegas never sleeps, I think it is just dozing in and out right now.

Uhm...I guess I am asking about what I should do to 'solo' Vegas? Kind of lacks the charm without other people. I really am loathe to trust the people here though considering it is well, a big city, and that City happens to be Vegas. Where practically everything is designed to divest me of my money as efficiently as possible lol.

I'm sure there's some lovely ladies stalking the casinos... So long as you don't get too drunk... they could provide you some decent company.

That is very unappealing. I did that about 13 years ago when I was a kid lol. This is my second time in Vegas.

I mean I already talked to some people and whatever. Had some fun at the poker tables. Made some acquaintances. Talked to some girls(very beautiful, very not interested in me lol, $$$ defines their interest, at least in the casinos)But I feel like I can only go so far. Can't bring a girl back to my room. Can't get really drunk and go back to the room. Limitations abound. I think I posted this up because I am a masochist and luxury is wasted on me. How did I not see this coming? Wasted oppurtunities frustrate me.

Have you tried that before? It is MUCH harder to convince a girl to go to their place than it is to go to yours. For whatever reason, doesn't make sense to me. Besides...most don't have hotel rooms. Casinos seem to be filled with Casino sharks and unavailable women so far. Oh...and cigarette smoke...egads the cigarette smoke.

But that is a very small part of what I am looking for and pursuing that will get this topic locked. I am basically trying to figure out how I will have fun in Vegas while still experiencing Vegas without getting myself in trouble.

But alas. Goodnight for now I think. Hopefully I will have a hetter outlook after some sleep lol.

The cheapest entertainment on the Strip is the Drunk Parade. In front of the Imperial Palace is a bar that serves drinks to the sidewalk. Anyway, between 11 PM and 3 AM you will see the most interesting drunk people walking by.

Oh, the women on the strip, no, they don't all of sudden think your hot, they want you to pay them for their company, so be careful.

It makes perfect sense. They don't want you to know where they stay, in case you turn out to be some kind of stalker.
