So I decided I wanted to play some BF3 and started it up, of course it has to run Origin and guess what? Origin had an update, no biggie right? WRONG! It error's out and tells me that I need to uninstall it and then reinstall it. So I did except now NOTHING happens when I try to run BF3 or Origin. Why cant they just use Steam like every one else does? It's established and guess what? IT WORKS!

So does anyone know how I can get it to run? I would really like to practice my sniping before bed.

You could always try, y'know, contacting support. That usually helps.

I uninstalled Origin and then reinstalled it. I dont know how BF3 would keep Origin from loading though.

I noticed that BF3 is on sale for 5 smackaroos today. Then I realized it was on Origin.

Your problem only solidifies my decision to stay the hell away from that... thing.

Origin is the reason that I still haven't, and probably never will, play Mass Effect 3 and see how the trilogy actually turned out.

I mean it's a joke! It seriously breaks when ever there is a update and it's just rediculous how they have the BF games set up on it. I mean I haved to run the damned program just to play story mode! I love the game but I'll be damned if I'm going to go through this crap again with BF4. If they want my business then they need to drop DRM all together or go to Steam.

I am going Electronic Arts (EA) and Origin free 3 years strong in a row it feels so good to save money .

Until Electronic Arts (EA) gets rid of Origin on PC for good I will never purchase video games published by Electronic Arts (EA).

Origin is terrible..kind of like the company that made it.
