So... i Was in this forum when the game was first announced and I was pretty much Outraged.

I tought this game, the way they presented it, was basically [censored] the Elder Scrolls Franchise.

LAtely I have seen some more videos.

I still hold my Idea about what was announched back then .. IMHO it was crap. But now I see some of those things are removed and some are said in an ambiguous way... ambiguous enough to let me think maybe they are gone too...

So I wanted to know how much of the things I hated is still there and how much is gone...

- First person: It seems to be in. It seems to be optional. I have to still see if 3rd person gives you advantages by being able to see more of your sorrounding and how they will deal with that but seems like an improvement (i would have gone with 1st person only but it's ok I guess)

-Combat: Once the announcement was, you have ti time your parries but other than that you don't really control your character movement nor your swings... now it seems like you directly control your character like the SP Elder scrolls, am I correct?

-Classes: Before every alliance had their own classes, now they are global. I would still prefer a classless skill based system but that's better. Also, when you goina guild you gain more skills, so you really can make a very hybrid class by creating a warrior and joining the mages guild. Is that true? To me it would be much better than what announced before. The "you can equip whatever you want" existed early and was one of the very few things I liked.

-Factions: Here start the ambiguous one. I heard "you can join a faction" and "You can Choose a faction". They were casually talking about factions but ... that kind of wording seems to point to a system where you create a character of whatever race and you can join whatever faction you want or even no faction at all... opposed to the old, "you choose a race, you are already in that race faction" Did they changed that? Can I make a nord and be in teh daggerfall covenant? Can I be a High elf and don't be part of a faction at all? This was my major complaint and I would seriously reconsider this game if they removed the mandatory predetermined faction of old.

Also, there are any news on housing and options for players clans?

I still would have liked a full sandbox with a skill based growth and no factions or wars but the ones led by players, still the game is looking better. If some things are confirmed I would give it a try.

Why would you go with first person only? Skyrim wasn't first person only. Third person was a viable way to play it.

Yes, combat is supposed to be way more fluid than other MMO's. You won't just be hitting buttons on an action bar.

Skills are very flexable. You gain skills in whatever you are using. If you want to wear light armor and use a two handed sword you can. If you want to be a heavily armored tank wielding a destruction staff you can do that too.

Factions are race locked. If you want to join the Daggerfall Covenant the you have to be an Orc, Redguard, or Breton. If you are a Nord you will be a part of the Ebonhart Pact.

I think what is bit confusing when it comes to factions etc, is the news that came a few weeks ago that guilds can have members from all factions.

So a guild can have Bretons,Redguards,Orcs, Altmer,Bosmer,Dunmer, Nords and Argonians in the same guild.

That and the fact that each character can join 5 guilds, and the fact that each account can join all factions.. Wouldn't those 3 factors make the factions rather loose and the game rather casual?

Examples:

1. Personally I don't like to fight against guild mates. If I am Nord I wouldnt go into a intense fight with a guild mate Breton.

2. Do you want to take a Keep from one third of the guild (EP take a keep from DC)?

Maybe I am not the only one that feels like that, so maybe the game becomes more like a social duel experience that intense combat over resources.

3. To be sure you have a Keep you make a character in each alliance and you are all set.

But which character will fight or defend against yourself?

etc. etc.

It's not 5 guilds per character its per account. And no you cannot face your own guildmates while in Cyrodiil if they are apart of a different faction. So that problem is already out the door.
