Making games other than TES/Fallout?

Im still playing Fallout 3 today and finding new things... will I still be playing Wolfenstein in 5 years time?... lol I wont even be playing it in 1 years time.

Beth should focus on the games people care about, rather than waste their resources elsewhere. If they did so, we'd be looking at another Skyrim DLC right about now.

Learn the difference between developer and publisher.

They publish a lot of other games, but BGS, Bethesda game studios, pretty much only make Fallout and TES, at least for the past 10 years or so.

Sound like you're mixing Bethesda Game Studios, the developer that makes TES and Fallout (and currently nothing else), and Bethesda Softworks, the publisher who in addition to TES and Fallout publishes Wolfenstein and these other games.

Bethesda isn't making any other games. Wolfenstein is being developed by MachineGames, not by Bethesda Game Studios.

Fallout 4 I can dig.. but I'd rather more Skyrim DLC than another game.

It'd be much easier for everyone if they'd called the publishing arm something other than "Bethesda". Dave is a nice name: "Dave's Publishing Emporium". There, problem solved.

Whilst it is generally accepted that Fallout 4 is the main present game they are working on, they are also collaborating with ZOS about the TES Online game regarding the lore and other content. There we are two projects.

If they decide to look at another game it will certainly be interesting and exciting considering the success they have had so far with TES and Fallout.

I'm personally looking forward to The Evil Within, that looks promising. Prey 2 as well, whenever that comes back. And Dishonored was one of the best stealth games in years. And since they're all made by different studios it won't impact the development of Fallout 4 or whatever Bethesda Game Studios is working on.

Yeah, going to Macdonalds to complain about Bethesda would make much more sense.

In any case, I'm not sure if Bethesda has developed games other than Fallout or TES for a few years, the publishing Bethesda has published other games, but I can't remember a Bethesda developed non-TES/Fallout game.

But Bethesda bothers because TES and Fallout have made the Bethesda name as strong as the series's, and there isn't really a problem with them branching out.

If BGS isn't working on Fallout 4 that'll be very interesting.
