In the new Gamerzine interview with Matt Firor that came out a few days ago (and I apologise if this has already been posted, I looked but didn't see it), Matt Firor revealed this bombshell:

Gamerzine: Elder Scrolls games have always had a great atmosphere and a large part of that is Jeremy Soule's epic scores. Is he involved?

Matt Firor: He's done the main theme, and we wanted the soundtrack to sound older because we're set a thousand years before the other games. We gave him some guidance as we wanted the score to sound a little more primitive, a little older, but we have a very war-themed game with the PvP system so we wanted to put that across.

So, there you have it, I guess.

I was a big fan of the Rik Schaffer-composed music we've heard so far, I'm hoping that isn't getting scrapped. It was mentioned by Rik before that he was composing 1/2 of the soundtrack - perhaps this is the confirmation that Jeremy is doing the other half?

As I read through the interview I'll post any new info below.

Gamerzine: Do you have any plans for player vendor stuff?

Matt Firor: We do, but we're not going to talk about that, mostly because we're working on the system right now, but we absolutely do.

Aand it seems like I've exhausted that interview already. They wasted their final question, it was another one of the 'lol, dragons amirite' questions.

But we TOTALLY need to know about Dragons and stuff. I mean come on, they NEVER tell us about the Dragons, we wanna know about Dragons!! AHHHH!!!1111

Well we've known he was involved in some way with the music score for the game. The part about him doing the main theme is new info though.
