consoles are one stepgeneration ahead pcs

Post » Thu Jun 27, 2013 1:57 am

saw this announcement and had to wonder why could it be the correlation between the amount of transistor count introduced with a gaming console in its respective generation and the time it takes pcs graphics hardware to catch up to aforementioned amount not only in terms of transistors but price

anyhow speed of light is not a constant

without gravitational pull one can achieve speeds far more than a proposed limit

how to achieve said speed nukes come to mind for easy acceleration

PC's are already ahead of the next console generation. Always will be.

Also you forgot to include the Magic Pixie Matrix and it's effect on the supplementary equation of the polarised concordance of rear-orientated centrifuges.

some will agree that price is not directly proportional that is after the 5th generation anyhow since this is the forum of a software company and I am a gamer not a coder I was wondering if you could enlighten me as to how long will it take the market to produce cost efficient graphics cards

Consoles don't really cost any less than the equivalent PC components. The manufacturers sell the consoles at a loss, and try to make up for this loss through various alternate sources of revenue, like added licensing costs for games, paying to use online, etc. Usually this turns out to be more detrimental and expensive for consumers in the long run, if you ask me.

Define cost efficient? Cost efficient for you isn't the same as cost efficient for someone else.

Now that I've calmed down laughing at the title of this thread, I have to ask a serious question: anyone actually believe it?

Because I sure don't.

The title would be more accurate to say: next-gen consoles finally catch up to PCs... made two years ago.
