Vanguard: Saga of Heroes

I'm thinking of getting this game off steam since it's free and free to play, but I'm wondering about some things.

I don't usually play MMO's because most of them have stuck up snobs in them and it takes forever to find a party, but someone told me you could play solo through most of the game. Is this true? A couple of other free MMO's I'm thinking about is Dungeons&Dragons Online and Marvel. I'm not a D&D fan but since it's free, and I'm looking for a new game since I'm still bored with Skyrim, I'm thinking about getting it too.

Ahh, Vanguard. Probably my favourite MMO after Ultima Online. I thoroughly enjoy it. The community has to be some of the nicest people I've ever played with, Telon is a close knit and very friendly community that will help and aid you in any way, just because they can. You can indeed solo through about 3/4 of the game, and if you're good into the upper levels (not end game though, obviously) however the population in the game is quite good right now and the LFG tool is both used and actually quite functional so fidning groups isn't hard at all.

DDO is ok, but I find they begin to nickel and dime you far too quickly, though it was fun for a little romp.

:)
