i bought this on ps3 today and immediately noticed that you had to hold L3 to run. i assumed that there must be an option to enable 'toggle run' like in almost every other game of the last decade but there was not one. there wasn't even a control option to move the run button somewhere else, ideally it should be on either L1 or L2.

this is a huge disappointment and i really feel i wasted my money on this purchase.

continual pressing of L3 especially while moving really puts wear on the control stick, and is really uncomfortable to do making this a pain to play. on ps3 at least you need to apply a lot of pressure in order for L3 to register.

pc people can probably find a way around it, but us console guys are stuck with it.

i was a big fan of doom 3, i used to own it for the original xbox, which was a great port that had FULL BUTTON MAPPING!! why doesn't this version have that too?

please patch this bethesda.

i know that this must be some kind of huge oversight, since i read in the manual that L3 is supposed to be toggle run!! in the manual its actually says toggle run, yet in the game its 'hold to run' without any option to change it.

a very simple oversight so please correct it. if this was fixed the game would be great.

look forward to the patch. please just add a toggle run option to the menu which means that with one press you remain in run mode until the button is pressed again.

ideally i would like run up on L1 and the torch button to L3 or even O which isn't being used for anything.
