I had this idea for the Elder Scrolls Universe

Now, I've been playing these games since Oblivion, wish I started a little sooner, because I feel like I'm behind at times.. But anyways, I'm not posting on here to explain my history of playing Elder Scrolls related games. But I had this idea when I was talking with one of my friends.. So I was always wondering, how would it be possible to explain our characters in the past that we've played as whether it be on an older game or after your character dies.. I'm uncertain on how EXACTLY this idea could work.. I mean I know it'd be difficult considering Skyrim and Oblivion were all on the Xbox, PS3, although this could work for PC gamers.. But if they could somehow incorporate the stories of your characters that you've played as before. Wouldn't that be pretty neat if you came across a book that says Your Characters Name with a neat title and you can actually read some of the decisions you made in a short summary? I just thought I'd share this idea.

It could be an interesting idea, though it's possible for you to mod in your own books that you yourself have authored, which could contain information about your past characters.

Also, if you know the chronology of the games (Morrowind takes place at a certain date, Oblivion takes place 10-ish years forward, and Skyrim takes place another 200 years forward) you could name later characters after previous characters, using the same last name for example. So your character in Skyrim is a descendent of a character in Oblivion, for example.

TESO is set way before even Morrowind....so even if they wanted to set something like that up, none of our previous characters have even been born yet...

Yeah I could very well do that. Too bad I wasn't playing Skyrim or Oblivion on a PC, I've been playing their games on consoles.
