Moon Sugar Dealing?

Post » Tue Jul 02, 2013 6:40 am

Weird thought I had over the weekend. Isn't every city going to have dozens of people selling goods player to player? If so then isn't it likely that each city will have people selling things like moon sugar and if that's the case aren't we looking at an actual chance that someone becomes Tamriel's Pablo Escobar? In turn couldn't this lead to a 1980's style epidemic?

I hope so.

Just the thought of seeing scratchy Argonian scooma-heads running around cities is kind of entertaining.

May the Hist Guide you.

It would be cool but I'm sure ZOS will discourage it. Based on their current description of Moon Sugar, they don't even want people to know its a drug. People who have never played TES before are going to end up thinking its just candy.

Would love to see an underground narcotics trade in ESO with guards that search you like in SWG! That would be amazing, but I'm sure it would be tough for them to get anything below an M rating (which it would be nice for them to have anyway) with something like that in the game.

First of all they would have to implement a reaction to moon sugar. I would love to see some filter effects(simple to implement) to make the world look completely different and interesting to explore in this way.
But unfortunately as NordJitsu said: They will try to be family compatible... :(

(Wow, Farts. That was a good topic. Well done.

Thanks Kazaloo.

So they're aren't side effects? Didn't their used to be in Oblivion? I don't partake in the moon sugar these days like I did in my twenties. Haha.

Let me change up the discussion then. You can sell items within your faction right? Doesn't that mean that every city is going to be littered with street salesmen like it's Times Square? I'm picturing people turning each city into a place of 200 Belethors. There is no way this isn't both hysterical and annoying. Just like Times Square.

Skooma is illegal in the Elder Scrolls world, isn't it? Even if its in the game and you're able to make/sell it, I don't think you'd see it hanging around in the local market.
