I have installed the Steam version of Sacrifice and I noticed that you cannot connect to the "Internet" after clicking on "MultiPlayer". They messed up the connection to the original GameSpy Server. The official Patch 3 also does not detect Sacrifice for Steam versions or GOG versions of Sacrifice (Another error from Steam and GOG). There is a fix for this. All you need to do is run a multiplayer fix (which has the official Patch 3 files installed). This fix simply has the files that Patch 3 installs in a ZIP file.

You will need to do a manual install in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Sacrifice OR C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG\Sacrifice OR C:\Program Files (x86)\Shiny\Sacrifice). You will need to copy and overwrite the files located here @ fileswap(.)com/dl/trPQV7c1rr/ (without the parentheses)(it shows what you are going to download when you click on the link). Overwrite your sacrifice original files.

When done run the sacpro.exe to play the game for multiplayer/internet to work (it is recommended you make a shortcut of this to your desktop so it's easier to run in the future). DO NOT run Sacrifice from steam as it will not work. Simply click on "Multi Player" then on "Internet" then go in the "Arena" room and Ta-Dah there you will see our online community! So let's play games!
