Conditioning perk question

Post » Sat Jul 06, 2013 12:06 pm

Does the conditioning perk work on shields or falmer helmets? When I have the steed stone, shields and falmer helmets are weightless when equipped.

I have the conditioning perk but when I don't have the steed stone, neither falmer helmets, which are heavy armor, nor heavy armor shields are weightless. That doesn't seem right.

The conditioning perk works fine for the rest of the heavy armor I have, including bonemold, ebony and Vokun.

I am wondering if my savefile is bugged or if shields and falmer helms are unaffected by the conditioning perk for everyone?

I'm sure shields don't count. I don't know about Falmer helmets.

The Falmer Helmet is incorrectly setup with the ArmorLight keyword. The Conditioning perk requires that each piece of armor has this the ArmorHeavy keyword for its weight to get reset to 0. Shields are NOT included in armor perks.

This bug is fixed by the USKP for the PC. If you're on a console, you need to choose different armor.
