I have been working on a mod with two followers. Each having their own bow. One has an Ebony Bow while the other has an Orcish Bow. Both bows are in their inventory, except when I test the follower they won’t use it. Instead both will use the Hunting Bow which is not in their inventory. Is there any way i can get them to use the bow I gave them?
Any help here would be much appreciated.

Isn't this fixed in the Unofficial Skyrim Patch?

I didn't know this was a bug, or that there was a patch. I thought I was doing something wrong.

There's a script attached to the follower alias which keeps reapplying the hunting bow to the follower. I'm pretty sure the USKP fixes this (or was it one of the follower mods?)

Anyhow, now we're on the subject, go to the nexus now and type "Unofficial Patch" in the search bar. There's one for the main game and one for each DLC. They fix soooo much stuff, one of the "must have's"

The USKP has only made the hunting bow playable, so that it can be seen in the follower's inventory and taken away. Then they'll use any bow at their disposal.
