Imperial Treasure Hunter

Post » Mon Jul 08, 2013 12:56 pm

So, i'm going to start an Imperial treasure hunter, looking for ancient treasures all across Skyrim, but mostly trying to find ALL the Dwarwen ruins.

Going to play on master difficulty (i think i'm going to die), sneaking past enemies to avoid combat (using dual daggers if necessary), but going to kill the bosses who are guarding the treasure.

I haven't made a backstory yet but i will soon.

Any tips and/or opinions would be appreciated! :)

I think having Archery would be good. Be careful around the Falmer...those poisons will kill you.

Take a follower into dwemer ruins, you will need a pack mule.
you will need a ranged attack because some dwemer spiders have a shock explosion when killed.

Or you could just make a melee character that doesn't drink milk. :P

I play warriors with a maximum of 250 health and I lose most of my health from 1 explosion. none of my characters are milk drinkers. :)

Strange. I play on legendary and don't have that problem.

I almost died in that dwemer ruin at Markarth today...and I was on adept
Spoiler
i activated the defence mechanism as it told me to do in the quest journal, then to leave the place and be attacked by TWO dwarven centurions as I was trying to escape the ruins

So yeah...you better prepare yourself well...especially cos you're playing on master difficulty first up

Put perks into your armor skill, that helps.

And do you level up faster if your difficulty is higher?

Try not using any magic, shields or armor. Rely solely on your skills as a swordsman and only wear the finest clothes. Feel free to take up alchemy but don't pick the ingredients yourself, have impoverished shopkeepers do it for you. Only sleep in upscale inns and only eat and drink the most exquisite food and beverage. Don't give any lowlifes the time of day. You are an imperial, above the petty squabbles of the lesser races.

Well, at least this is how I would roleplay as an imperial.

If you can get some mods to make yourself look like Indiana Jones, complete with that awesome Fedora hat and bull whip. But, if your character is a woman, you should totally make her look like Lara Croft from the latest Tomb Raider. That's by far the best Lara so far along with it being the best Tomb Raider game to date.
