Hey everyone im planning on doing a corvo cosplay for comicon san diego. im huge dishonored fan but i need some help. From in game images im trying to determine all the different things he is wearing and the color of the clothes. I will be making everything by hand so i need to buy fabric and it is very hard to tell the color of alot of the things he is wearing. For example in some pictures (like the cover art) Corvo's trenchcoat looks to be made out of either a black leather or fabric, while in his in-game model or other pictures he seems to be wearing a navy blue coat, not black. also his boots seem to be black in some pictures while they seem to be brown in others.

Anywho if any one can help clear this up by posting what they think or know the color of his different articles of clothing are it would be a big help as im really going all in for this cosplay. I'll post finished pictures when it is completed.

I checked my Dishonored-related art folder and saw that it's really a problem. He is indeed in grey in promo-art, but in-game he is in blue. But he is seen in the ending only and he certainly had opportunity to change after he saved the little empress. The cosplay I've seen has also gone with the blue version.

I, personally, like the blue coat more. I find it more interesting. And I t hink that Corvo is shown in grey just for the more gritty look (it seems that his coat just lost all the color). But what I know? Also we should remember that his concept changed a lot.

Have you checked the moment Corvo gets his gear in the sewers? I can't remember if the color of the clothing is visible while it lies in the suitcase (or whatever that thing is).
