Which movie should I watch?

Post » Tue Jul 09, 2013 1:34 am

- The Lone Ranger
-Man of Steel
- Monsters University

World War Z would also be here except the cinema times aren't right. :(

So I'm really struggling to decide, so I though I'd ask for your opinions. :P

I dunno about the others but I'm really not a Pixar fan so I'd say to skip Monsters University. That is my opinion. Now is it my advice? [censored] knows.

Man of Steel. I've never been a Superman fan but I loved it.

Then again, I havent seen the other two, so my input is about as useful as wheels on a salmon.

I'm usually a Pixar fan, but they've gone downhill since Cars 2. :(

I don't have a date either...

That's sweet. Go see what you think she would like the best.

See Lone Ranger and then tell me if it's any good so I know if I should watch it or not.
Seriously though, if you're going with someone, choose whatever you think they'll like. I enjoyed Man of Steel, but I know my mom would rather watch something that's not an action/superhero movie. I can't say anything about the other two.

Go see This Is The End, it's really good and a lot funnier than first expected.

My mum's the opposite, she loves superhero movies/sci fi/all that good stuff, so I went to see Man of Steel with her :D

Haha, mum just said she's been wanting to see Man of Steel, so I guess we'll see that. :D

This is the end isn't out in Australia yet.

if you have not seen it before, go watch john carpenter's "the Thing". i know that is not what your asking, but if you haven't seen it then that is my recommendation.

out of the three mentioned however, i have not heard any thing about the other movies but man of steel apparently is decent enough.

Lucky you. My mom usually goes to meet with friends when my dad and I have our movie nights.

Isn't it from the 80s? Or am I thinking of something else?

lone ranger more bang for your buck (can be bit campy in its exposition) wendigoooooooo

man of steel can be a bit slow at times but still a good entry in terms of visual appeal

definitely the thing the old one as well as the new one

what else the new ghost in the shell if you are into cell animation variants (even for its repetitive bad guys)

if you have not watched already takeshi kitanos zatoichi

Yeah, the special effects look good even today. Better than in the Thingequel, i'd say

I wouldn't know, mama is what I call mine. ;)

Hmm. I love Blade Runner, so maybe I should trust you and obtain The Thing. I think I actually already watched it, but it was many years ago, so I'm not sure.

i liked that new one they did, it stayed true to a lot of details from john carpenter's. although that was kind of what held it back from being more successful i think, since a lot of people who went to see it did not see the one from the '80s

it is on netflix if you have a subscription.
