NA/Oceanic it looks like. Someone in the other thread brought up a decent point about them probably wanting to keep it localized for legal reasons, but I don't really know much about law to know if that's how it works or not.

Doesn't it make totally sense to test game mechanics, installation, updates etc. on the local server first and open up the european server later only for stress testing the infrastructure?
I don't see a reason I would start closed beta on two servers, but wait (and save a lot of money) and test on one server first, and start specific tests on the second server later.
To mantain a second server just for beta-testing is way to expensive. Also consider the time shift. To pay people outside regular work time (or additional people) sounds unnecessary.

Although I am from germany and totally would love to see some EU beta invites It seams unlikely und unlogical at this time.

Can agree with that, would be nice to know this though so we didn't get our hopes up unnecessarily

When I was in EQII beta, all off us was on a US beta server, and I am from Europe. Why would it not work like that with TES:O ?

They will wipe all beta chars anyway after beta
