In MMO's, commonly though I have only played one I agree with a post I saw saying most mmo players, though not all, play mmo's and just act like there visiting the world rather than living in it. which do you think will be the majority of eso players?

I don't completely get the question.

I would like to be able to interact with the world like it was real, so eat, sleep, sit, hunt...
On the other hand I won't do it all the time. If I only have 1 hour to play, I propably just want to quest right away.
So...maybe...both?

You will find me trying to blend with the NPC population as much as possible.

I'm more of a visitor than anything. Not much of an RPer, although I do have this habit of closing doors...

I'm not someone has likes to RP at all, at least in video games. I will do it if I'm playing some D&D, but I don't like doing it in games. But I still like to get myself immersed in the game world though even if I'm not "being" my character. So I guess I'm sort of in a limbo area where I am just visiting the game world, but I do like to live in the moment though.

I too am not a fan of RPing though quite the opposite, i love to immerse myself in the world and bring my personality inside the games.

I don't roleplay at all, but I like your phrasing of "living in the moment." I like to be immersed in the scene unfolding before me. In that sense, you could say that I like to be "in" the world. I'm not sure that's precisely what the OP is asking. I think the heart of the question is centered around whether players like to be forced to do more mundane activities in games (like eating/sleeping/...paying taxes) because it makes you feel like you are truly living in the world, or do you prefer more of a themepark, where you can log in and choose which ride to ride that day, without worrying about the potential upkeep costs of your activities.

I can't say I'm on the far side of either argument. I can appreciate and enjoy day/night cycles, inventory weight (with realistic consequences to character performance as carry weight increases) and stats like "hunger" or the need for characters to sleep. On the flip side, I don't completely renounce convenience tools such as fast travel, or the ability to save your game "anywhere" (a function many people hate in newer RPGs.) Generally, I'd say I like to be "in" the world; but, I have to admit that, occasionally, it's nice to be able to just visit for a while without getting bogged down with little details.
