Let's talk about one of the greatest anime series that ever existed the Mobile Suit Gundam series. My favorite are:
Anime series:
Mobile Suit Gundam (Although I haven't seen the entire series).
G Gundam.
Gundam Wing.
Games:
MSG: Zeonic Front.
Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story 0079: Rise from the Ashes. This was a damn good game on the Dreamcast but it was REALLY short.
Gundam: Battle Assault 2.
Movies:
MSG: Char's Counterattack.
Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxSZBvJs5k8 is one of the founding anime I watched that got me into anime. This holy trinity was Dragon Ball Z, Gundam Wing, and Pokemon.

My favorite is Wing. I have tried to get into more than one of the other ones but thy just don't pull me in like Gundam Wing did.

I've seen many mecha anime series, but I've somehow never seen a single Gundam series yet...
