Why The DaggerFall Covenant is the underdog of ESO

Post » Wed Jul 17, 2013 5:47 pm

I don't know if i am the only one that thinks this, however, I do in fact believe that the Daggerfall covenant is the already underdog of the three alliances. I have several items that would support this bold statement and i ask that you listen to me and draw your own personal conclusion. weather it be the same or not.

============================================================

A few days ago i created several alliance based poll questions all around the same time. In regards i asked three main questions.

First off i asked which of the three alliances that you'd fight for. At first, and of course, the aldmeri showed a higher vote count. followed by the ebonheart pact then lastly, the daggerfall covenant. I checked the poll today and i was astounded to find that over sixty-five people voted and the ebonheart pact came out on top. followed by the aldmeri, then the daggerfall covenant. mind you the win was but a short win. 26 to 24 for the record. While the DC received a teasingly 15 votes. mind you that i am truthfully Ebonheart pact biased. I simply despise the aldmeri, i actually just got done slaughtering an aldmeri group in markath in skyrim. anyways, this first proves that the DC is the least popular of the three. Secondly, i posted a poll of who shall win the war. Of all the votes it ended like so; EP 33, AD 16 and last and least the DC with a measly 9 votes. Lastly i recall a poll by a user asking us which race we'd like to play as. Predictably, the breton and red guard were the least popular. Based off of these three informational items, i sadly conclude that the DC is already the underdog. I know opinions will vary on this topic, i ask that you please be polite and follow the forum rules. Thank you and to those of the Daggerfall Covenant, Good luck.

Daggerfall is second best, imho. The Aldmeri Dominion is gonna get totally rolled. Bunch of yellow sissies and cat men.

Well, my thoughts on online polls are all over the place, so I'm just gonna say that unless you had something like 100k respondents, don't read too much into it.

The Pact is largely popular for two reasons: Skyrim (most recent and for some, most familiar TES title), and dark elves (some is Morrowind, but for non-TES players, they're seeing D&Ds drow). The Drizz't wannabes are going to be many. I kind of feel sorry for you Pact guys on that count.

Me, I'm leaning most strongly towards Daggerfall Covenant, Breton Nightblade. Peace.

It's the underdog because not many people want to play it, yup. I plan on making a Nord and an Altmer. I have no desire to play any Daggerfall races at all.

not only do we not know what the millions of other people who will buy the game will pick (and mind you many people unfamiliar with TES might roll an Orc due the appeal from other mmos and the races overall brute force) PLUS, Cyrodill will have a balanced amount of people from each alliance in every campaign. there is no underdog, based on your criteria

Bring out the blood and gore and playerbase spreads more evenly. Thats what Ive said. This is after all PVP game, PVPers love some gore and blood and not to mention blood and gore would be great market trick now too, its been a while since MMO did it. Blood and gore makes even Breton look cool.
