What is moral in ESO? Does good and evil exist?

Post » Mon Jul 22, 2013 8:22 am

Morality comes with a sliding scale apparently - the perception being relative to whatever folks can get away with wherever and whenever they are at the time.

by the morality of the 1960s much of the 'accepted' politics of today is evil ... not sure if folks born since then realise this

The thing about ES is that you have to suspend 'modern' thinking to arrive at a sensible morality that would pass in mediaeval times ... and Tamriel is simply alien despite the powerful 'humanistic' cultural themes running though it.

That may be why the Devs have insisted that ES does not judge in terms of good and evil

However what is the cultural basis in ESO? And how does it correspond with concepts of political correctness?
