So my question is, if I spawn in Skyrim for example will I immediately be killed or are there specific areas for pvp? I'm sure it's been answered before, but I just want to confirm.

PVP is ONLY done in Cyrodiil, you can not be killed nor kill any other player character outside of Cyrodiil. And as of right now in the most recent interviews this includes Dueling.

thanks like i said i just wanted to make sure because the last thing anyone needs is dying by a level 50 immediately after spawning so thanks again for answering my question.

We don't have a dueling system in of that type currently.

All dueling an PvP activity currently takes place in Cyrodiil. We don't have an arena for it in the PvE areas.

When you first create your character you will be spawned in your races home zone. Skyrim for Nords, Morrowind for Dunmer, etc. So no you wont be immediately killed. At least not by pvp anyways.

Paul Sage said they don't have dueling at this time. So no its not false.
