A lot of times when I try to use the "show comment" action in the comments section, the comment below is blank and seems to elongate.

There's always something wrong with Youtube. Huzzah for 4 hour processing times for 8 minute videos!

But re: this problem, I've had the same problem recently. Knowing Youtube, they'll probably get around to it sometime in 2015 when they decide to force everyone to another new channel layout.

I'll post this here. I'm not sure if this is just my browser, but anytime I'm in youtube watching a video or stream, and I switch tabs, the video glitches for a sec. It doesn't break the video, but the audio/video cuts for just a second and its quite annoying. Anyone have this issue?

ohh thank god, Im not the only one experiencing it....
Now im not nearly as paranoid, and can stop spending 12+ hours searching my system for potential virus's that don't seem to be there...

I never had that issue...the only issue I've had with YouTube was it's over strict copyright DRM it has...it shut down one of my best projects ever . Also I have noticed the video seems lower then usual, like if your watching a video with subtitles, the subtitles appear in the timeline bar.

I'm having the same issue, but look at it on the bright side--you're less likely to stumble upon foul and ignorant messages!

I'd consider not being able to see comments on YouTube to be a feature myself.
