The first step to bridging what separates PCs & consoles

First of all, the customary "You can't spell ignorance without IGN".
Secondly, I think the Ouya's failure is partly due to its power. Its basically just an Android phone I can plug into my TV. It can play Android games, so can my phone, it can play Indie games, so can my PC, it can run emulators, so can my PC (or anything else nowadays). It's not powerful enough to be a proper console, and it doesnt really do anything that most people can't already do. I think the idea of a cheaper console is a great one for lower-income families, but the Ouya just doesnt really offer much at the moment.
