No, I don't think they listen to us or will listen to us. If they do, they are or will be ignoring a large portion of us.
I think with ESO they're doing a pretty good job of it. They can't implement every change we want, but they do better than most.
Yep, because when people cried that there was no first person view with hands ZOS didn't add them. Oh, wait...
Or, when people complained that they couldn't see all of the zones with one character because of the faction lock. ZOS didn't add a feature to allow people to see all the lands with one character. Oh, wait...
(See where I'm going here?).
I think so far they have listened when they have needed to and stuck to their guns when needed to.
Did they change that second issue? As for first-person, I'm sure that was what they were planning in the beginning.
No, they weren't planning on adding in FPV with hands into the game. When the game was first announced it was basically WoW v3.0. They have come along way since then because of the feedback they have gotten from fans and changing the game.
And they have fixed both of these issues. (Because of fan feedback. Surprise Surprise).
I'll be convinced when chat bubbles are added to the game.
Yes... we can now see all faction lands on one character.
OK, so you aren't convinced that they haven't taken fan feedback to make the game better? After I just pointed out TWO big things they have changed this game. I think you are just wanting to hate on them to hate.
No, I didn't say they haven't recieved fan feedback, I was just saying they haven't done very much with the feedback they have. As mentioned above, not any more or less than any other game developer.
They just released TODAY that there would be no chat bubble. Do you believe that they would change it within hours?
If they were like any other developer they would never had added in the 50+(+) zones or FPV w/ hands. They would have told you, "Tough [censored], deal with it," and give you the finger.
No... if they were like any other developer, they would do whatever makes most players happy and remove faction-restrictions and add in first-person.
Haha, do you even read what you type? Just not one post ago you said they wouldn't do anymore than any other developer out there. And now you are saying that all other developers they would be adding things that fan suggests. Oh man, you double take WAY too much.
Oh, and you do realize that they do take what the fans have said and do change things if they need to be changed (like the two things I pointed out to you). Oh and you do realize that they just don't change features the same day the release they don't have said feature. They just released TODAY (god I don't know how many times I need to say this to you) that at this time they don't have chat bubbles. They haven't had enough time to take in the feedback on that release yet. You have to give them time.
I just believe some of these people (Shasow I'm looking RIGHT at you) don't want to realize that ZOS has changed things after fan feedback. They just want to be arrogant to the fact and I believe they are just hating to hate.
Edit: I'm just glad to see one reasonable person on this forum tonight.
Nice to see this point being debated. I hope everyone doesn't mind if I put in my two cents. Personally, I feel as though they certainly listen to a degree. The fact that there is now a first-person mode of gameplay is huge, not to mention the ability to take your character to other alliance territories in the 50+ game. Other than that though, what changes have the developers made on behalf of player requests? I feel as though Zenimax has a preconceived notion of what this game will be and hasn't strayed from that much at all, with the exception of the two changes mentioned above.
