I hope they show really new and awesome stuff, not just rehashed beta areas.

Finally some real gameplay! i hope.. and what imean by "real" gameplay is .. Hands on. them playing it live. but i dont think they will.

Yeah, it is good to hear, and I do think it will be actual gameplay. They'd have a riot if it wasn't.

will it same as with skyrim, so the audience screams kill and [censored]?

I honestly think they are aiming the wrong games to the wrong audience IMO.

It was a mess when QuakeCon was shown Skyrim, with people yelling and screaming. Bethesda doesn't realize QuakeCon is a community-proud thing, all about tournaments and shoot 'em ups as well as anything from id (Doom, Quake, etc.). I may be wrong, but that is what I have learned and researched. Heck, the QuakeCon forums were scrapped here because the community was so bitter about the forums here that they went and started up their own, which I do not blame them since their original forums were community run and not Bethesda's property.

tl;dr- IMHO It is a mistake for Zenimax to treat QuakeCon for a games showcase from other companies other than id (i.e. Showing TES titles, Dishonored, etc.)

This is something to look forward do, hopefully this is worth watching and perhaps they will release some more beta keys???

Woot! Great news. Now I am really excited. Beta Keys seem to be getting released on a scheduled interval - the next one should be around august 5th I would imagine.

How long will it be? The schedule says 12:30pm, but no length or end.
The next event will be at 2pm, so this would mean over 1 hour...is that possible?

(This would make my weekend. Wow.)

Who has been at Quakecon and can tell about the average length of those presentations?

Do they vary a lot?

I'm afraid we'll over-hype it, and they'll only show things we've seen already.

Good thing what I'm saying has no basis.

But yeah..I hope they show us things we have very little info on, such as Cyrodil's actual size, and the ability to swing loadouts, along with maybe even a keep siege if we're really lucky.

I won't be able to watch it live. Hopefully we will be able to watch a recording of it later.
