Didnt see a topic about it so im gonna start one here for season two of The Vikings show. i watched season 1 and its definitely entertaining and something different, got hooked up immediately. they are working on another season and it will be released in 2014.

Dont watch the trailer if you dont wanna see spoilers. wish i didnt. -_-

Spoilers from the trailer:

Spoiler
Not sure why would they show Floki's death in a trailer. im hoping that its just to mislead us and something happens in that moment when the screen goes black. Floki is such an important character and having him die like that is ridicules. at least wait for the season to start then reveal his death..

Yeah, Ragnar Lothbrok is a badass, and his wife Lagertha . :woot: I'm glad there will be a season 2, didn't look at the trailer though.

I'm wondering if eventually everyone dies off and the show "Vikings" simply continues with other Viking sagas and historical events. So we start with Ragnar and Lindisfarne, and end with something like Blàr a' Bhuailte, which was the last stand of the Vikings.

Good question, I wondered that myself at one time. I wonder if Cnut the Great, Eric the Red and Leif Ericsson, will be portrayed in the series.

Therein lies the problem. Does the show only follow the life and times of Ragnar? Or does it encompass key moments in Viking history? By the way Travis Fimmel is excellent as Ragnar.
