Now that the death penalty has been confirmed, equipment will deteriorate when player dies, im wondering how large AvA battles are balanced.
What i mean is that players needs to be prevented to rejoining battles too many times, or too easily, after they die, otherwise the AvA battles will start pointlessly to drag on for too long. Unless there is another method to determine winner of AvA battles, other than losing side having its soldiers killed.
Personally i've never been fan of conquest or domination type games, where groups attemp to flag certain locations for a set period of time.
This might sound dull for many players, i know. Having played Eve for years, i know what it feels like getting primaried very early in fleet fights. You wait for hour or two for the fleet to form up and then, bam, the fight is over for you before it even really started. On the other hand, reshipping is important part too.
So this is what interests me most... How is reinforcements and rejoining in large AvA battles handled?
