I think there should be a new update, that lets us own, and repair some or all of the abandoned ruins, forts, and castles. Am I the only one that thinks that's a good idea?

I would personally like to see an update that fixes the NPC lip-sync lag that was introduced in the 1.9 patch before anything else.

As far as the dilapidated forts, roads and castles are concerned, to me it just goes along with the story of a war-ravaged Empire and the economical effects it has on the providences in Tamriel (even though we had the same in the previous ES games).

Not everyone of them. You have the choice whether you want to or not. Just like buying a house, there are many out there, but you're not going to buy them all.

that would be nice but Bethesda has officially moved on from Skyrim they aren't coming back to it unless we really, really, really beg them to but since their decision was finale we have to respect it

We should also become Jarls of those forts.

Another thought I had, was that once you become Thane, you can purchase the pre-set home in the city and/or another property in the hold, i.e. the ruin, fort, or castle.
