is this game like an open world version of "The Suffering Ties that Bind" ?

in that game you were a prisoner for some reason (never played 1st game looking that up was because apparently your character killed his wife and child and blacked out )

any way any way you bust out only to be attacked by hordes of zombie sword limbed foe things and your character is trying to piece together what happened through flashbacks while tryign to find the guy that turned you into some freaky demon guy (its been many years since i last played but the details for me are pretty sketchy so sorry if im getting this wrong)

any way as you kill stuff you gain rage to activate your god mode demon powers and destroy the enemies faster and your attacks will change its looks and appearance depending on your morality (because random innocent bystanders who act like they are on a drug withdrawal happen to be lurking around corners and talk to you and you can either kill them or help them)

any way now that that is out of the way is Prototype the same thing ?

how long into the game before you can start running up buildings ?

is the demon power stuff activated by pressing a button after filling a rage meter of some sort or can it be activated when ever ?

id like to print a manual off but last time i tried i ran out of ink after 3 pages

can i get in cars or only crush them beneath me ? and when im not demon can i use weapons of any sort ??

Not to spoil to much of who Alex is but i will say that he aint who you think he is but more of that will be revealed as you play through the story.

soo do i need to upgrade my abilities ? i feel soo OP as it is with out even upgrading

Trying playing more than the first 10 minutes until after you get your powers taken away.

Prototype was a fun superhero (or villain? game, but unfortunately buggy. Also with it i learned that Activision doesn't publish patches for SP only games, so i haven't even looked at the sequel.

But there's always Infamous


Cars, tanks and even helicopters. Also many weapons. IIRC disclaimer applies, though

ive been playing for an hour

and i mean literally the basic abilities of running up walls disguising people jumping twice to 3x the height of a person blowing up a car in 3 basic kick or punch attacks im starting to consider starting over in hard mode now as it is with out even upgrading abilities im a god among mortals

Pretty sure the civilians and cars aren't supposed to pose a threat. Maybe wait until you actually fight stuff.

killed about 42 swat members and their chopers then ducked behind a corner and lost them ... not really a challenge at all

Reminds me that they should really make another open world Hulk game. The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction was awesome. That's pretty much all Prototype reminded me of.

so i upgaded critical mass and then got adrenaline surge hoping i actually need these and didnt waste exp on them .-. those things where you get claw ability from are really tough i kept getting mauled how do i upgrade my claws to swing faster and do more damage
