Questions - perspective and game world size

Post » Wed Aug 07, 2013 9:10 pm

i did try for hours lookin online before coming here but too many articles outdated or vague or contradicting each other. i searched 3 pages here before making this topic.

my question is 1st - will there be third person or first person player viewpoint? i ask because unless im aiming i always play third person. this is because ALL first person game playing makes me motion sick fairly quickly tho some will make me sicker faster than others. im, not the only human in the world that suffers from motion sickness sensativity either so sales could be lost if only first person was possible. and 2nd - how big is the game world overall? ive heard vague reports but i didnt play any games before oblivion so i dont have a fair frame of reference. how big on average is each "zone"?

thanks

There will be 3rd and 1st person fighting both are more then acceptable and have been worked on enough to allow both.

as for the game size I believe it will contain all of Tamriel which if you played Skryim it will have that and all the other places... which I think will be as large as say in Skyrim and Oblivion just check the maps out of those (I believe Correct me if i'm wrong anyone)

do you mean skyrim in TES online will be as big roughly as TES 5 - Skyrim actually is? and so on for oblivion? or do you mean that TES online will be in total as big as skyrim and oblivion combined?

I'm hoping for an "immense" game world and I believe that each province will be as big as a standalong TES game (fingers crossed here).

I did see a map that roughed out some playable areas for each faction, but I do not think it is accurate.

I wonder thought if they will have everything in the world fleshed out by launch? I hope that it is, but I would appreciate support from Zenimax on making expansions when needed and correcting the inevitable bugs that will crop up.

It will contain all the places, like Cyrodiil and Skyrim (used those as examples) take Skyrim it will have that one in the game, with Morrowind, Skyrim, High Rock, Hammerfell, Cyrodiil, Valenwood, Elsweyr, Black Marsh. From what i've read it will contain all of these lands... which if not mistaken will be the size of them in the games in past like Skyrim will be as large as the game Skyrim... sorry i'm terrible with words XD

I think they plan on adding all of Tamriel land at launch (from what I've read). we have to remember majority of the races on Tamriel moved here from other continent, so they could add those in as future expansions... maybe go back and see the "frozen wasteland" of Atmora or so forth :D

Skyrim in TESO will be larger than Skyrim in TES5. So take Skyrim and multiply that by about 10. http://www.imperial-library.info/sites/default/files/imagecache/node-gallery-display/2E582map_0.jpg
