I ask this because im planning on going orc for launch, but i just can't stand being put with the basic humanoid races D:

Now i theres lore involved and all that, im just interested whether people like who they're allied up with

For the most part I am happy because as a Nord I get to play with my second favorite race in Dunmer. I just wish we could team up with Redguards, but oh well.

I don't like any of the races in the AD so thats good for me. I'll be slaying them all day heh.

I'm absolutely torn as I can easily play an Altmer, Breton, or Dunmer...

I'm not fully decided what my first play-through will be... Altmer would be easy since I also like the Bosmer, and I don't have any gripes with the Khajiit.

Hardest would be Dunmer because I dislike the Nords, greatly.

I couldn't care less, cause I will be playing with the people behind those races - there's no difference, so long as they're not [censored]s.

As an Argonian, no, I am not happy that I'm going to have to play with Nords. I absolutely hate Nords. I'm fine with playing with the Dunmer, they're all right with me, as long as they're not tribal Dunmer. I would really rather have Khajiit in my alliance.

Then why not play a race in that alliance?

Altmer, Bosmer, and Khajiit are my second, third, and fourth favorite races. Orcs are my first. Pretty sure I'm going with Aldmeri but you never know, probably depends on friends' choices. If I do go Daggerfall Covenantt, though, every single character will be an Orc. I won't be playing Ebonheart Pact, period.

Some of the people most vocal about "but I am an Argonian!!!!!" are among those who are adamant that first person is in game, cause they "only ever play first person!!!!"

I'm Nord all the way... not really sure bout the Argonian's or Dark Elf... both sneaky type races... but we'll see how this goes

There's a race on each faction I'm totally happy with, to be honest im less fussed about actual race and more interested in the culture behind it all.

For example, I'd pick Nords because I really like Viking culture etc

The daggerfall covenant is shockingly perfect for me. Orcs and redguards are easily my 2 favourites, and then bretons are easily my third favourite, and I actually hate, like really f'n hate, ALL the other races. Having any one of them in a pact with my orc or redguard would have been problematic, but the way it is works perfectly. This perfectness is the only reason I'm gonna play this game, because I don't care for mmos, but the daggerfall covenant is just too cool.
