The question is simple, will there be any expansion packs that will be payed for, like diablo 2 lords of distruction?

most mmo's that don't "fail" in the first year offer xpac's. most also offer relatively regular free updates.
Not exactly true... I only know of two MMOs that have released (paid) expansions: WoW and Guild Wars. Most MMOs just have large updates. Although I would love to pay for expansions in TESO, as long as it's not P2P, because then we're at the "pay $180 + $15 a month to play the game" like WoW.

And so on.
All games I haven't played for more than 30 minutes. Those games don't really deserve to sell any expansion packs.
Come now.
If YOU don't like those games, it doesn't mean other people don't. Those games have their own fan base and they do deserve to sell their expansion packs for those people.
Remember, world isn't just for you.
That really is sort of opinion and not at all factual. The factuals are that there are many MMOs that have sold paid expansions even aside from the ones Tapanidoe posted.
Sorry, I find it hard sometimes to realize that many people like those games. It's just that better (in my opinion, of course) games offer full-scale updates for free.
