Guild AH "solutions"

For those of you who do not know, the auction house system is going to work like this: http://youtu.be/YOaK0Wz8lYM?t=25m41s

Here are the potential problems I saw that the GAH (Guild Auction House) system might have, IMHO. It is possible that ZOE already has these issues solved, but I will list my solutions, as just as a helpful suggestion.

1) People are forced to join a guild to use the AH.

There could be a "Guild Tradesmen" option when you join a guild. What this means is, when you join a guild, you have two options, (one)become a full member or (two)instead of becoming a full member of a guild, you are an official Guild Tradesmen for the guild, like a contracted traveling salesman.

This option (and I am just spit-balling here) would give minimum access to the guild. Mainly the GAH. People in the guild would know you are not a "real" member, but a friend and employee of the guild. If the guild was named "Silver Sword" and you would have "Silver Sword Tradesmen" as a title above your head.

This is mainly for those who really don't want to fully join a guild, but can still feel part of the over all community.

*Also, the Guild Tradesmen should not count towards the actual guild max membership.

2) Anyone who wants to sell or buy an item will need to check all 5 guild AHs just to get the best deal.

If you are in multiple guilds, as a full member or a tradesmen, all the GAHs could combine to be like one. (That web of trading the Devs were talking about) So, you will have the 5 GAHs combine so you don't have to go to all 5 to check for the best prices.

This can be an option because some people might want to put an item in a specific GAH.

3) Because there will be so few people using each AH, there is much greater potential for huge price gouges.

I think my solution for 2 goes a long way to help this problem. By putting 5 GAHs together, you have less potential for price gouging. Again, this is an optional thing.

4) The guilds with the best AH have to potential to charge just to use their AHs.

I would hope with the "Guild Tradesmen" option, this might go a little to resolving that issue.

5) Some people might not get lucky enough to be able to get into a large guild. So, they have no access to an AH, or at least no a useful one.

I would hope with the "Guild Tradesmen" option, this might go a little to resolving that issue.

I know some of you see nothing wrong with this system. However, I would like to discuss how these issues might be solved by those who do think these listed items might be a potential issue. Also, I just want to say again that it is possible that ZOE already has these issues solved and we just don't know it yet, so these would just be more options for them to look at.

Please feel free to add any ideas that you think might make GAH a better system.

Thank you.

How about we wait until we know for sure it is a real problem before we worry about solutions? I think you're overreacting a bit at least give it a chance will ya?

I don't understand what is wrong with discussing issues on a topic and offering helpful ideas. Did you even bother to read my post?
