A dark and creepy world

Finally an MMO that creates a dark and creepy medieval world.. To me a world to live and breath in. A world to get immersed in.

I am so hoping that the developers agree with me that adding things that dont feel natural to this world would only distract from the core of the world. I really hope they will try all an everything to build a world and not a game..

Things like instanced PvP, mini games, guns and canons, bright neon colored knights, seizonal content and whatever stuff othet games add to keep people busy would only distract my immersion in this world. All they need to add is more world, more stories, more lore, more hidden secrets, more stuff to keep me enthralled in the world.

Here here! I'm liking very much what I am seeing lately. I've had my fill of cheery bright MMOs filled with carnivals and minigames. I want real grit... I want and expect an Elder Scrolls game that just happens to be multi-player, and things are shaping up in that direction.

The PvP is instanced to Cyrodiil. However, Cyrodiil is huge.

There are mini games, but done in a way it feels like part of the world, like fishing.

I hope there is seasonal content, but based on the game world, not the real world.

Cyrodill is not really an instance, its more like a PvP continent, it consists of 8 full zones so far, it has both PvP as PvE content. Sure, its not possible with the major server to let all People that want to PvP intoo the same version of cyrodil, so there are different channels of Cyrodil, but to the players in such a channel it feels like an open world...

I however hope that there are mechanics at work that make sure i will be in the same channel as all my guildies.

They have said there are, in some introduction video.

Also, on topic: I have high hopes for TESO, not about gameplay,
but about the world. If you have played GW2 you know it is a pain to play in
a childish world, where your character is forced to be the naivé hero.

And I believe and hope Tamriel is made to be realistic, with all it's characters.
And that we have the freedom to choose our character's personality.

Be careful in this unnatural world, the night is dark and full of terrors.

Agreed. Fishing and lock picking are mini-games that fit the genre and the world. I am fine with a Xmas celebration as long as it's tied into a actual holiday from the lore and they don't shoe horn in trees and presents etc.

Also, so we don't rend the fabric of Space/Time, Quazar is wrong, WRONG I tell you!!! :)
