Continuity from main game?

POSSIBLE MAIN GAME SPOILERS.

I mean, I know that most people who played/looking to play knife of dunwall would've played the main game, but whatever, still nice to be warned. While we're at it, how on earth to spoiler boxes work around here?

Anyways, I was wondering, considering you have the chance to spare/kill daud in the main game, does this affect the DLC? I mean, on my latest runthrough, I spared him. On my first one I killed him. Which one will come to be? And what if, after starting the daud dlcs, I start a pirate runthrough (as in pistol and sword, reckless disregard for stealth) and of course, kill daud? Will daud suddenly start fading out of time like marty mcfly? I just wonder. Because I kinda feel like Jack Sparrow-ing the entire main game again.

Click the "Special BBC Code" button to find the spoiler tags. (beside the Font options)
There is also an entire Spoiler section in each forum. I'll move this there, just to keep all players safe from them

Thanks, I wasn't quite sure whether no spoilers counted for just knife of dunwall or the entire game.

I'd say that Dishonored is pretty postmodern in this regard. Players are more of a void creatures, like Outsider - multiple options and results coexist simultaneously, we just pick up what we like.

Daud DLCs run parallel the main game. They happen prior to The Flooded District of the vanilla Dishonored.

We don't know yet how the fight of Corvo And Daud will be handled. The decisions from TKoD will be carried over to TBW, but I haven't heard anything about carrying over the saves from the main game. I guess not.

Maybe they'll just leave it open. Leave Daud at the point right before you find him in the flooded district, so you know what happened to him.

In any case...I really want to flintlock some things to death.

It's an interesting topic.

I have pondered if Dauds' story will dove-tail back into Corvos' campaign. Perhaps it will let you import your Brigmore save back into the main game?

But, given what I have seen and read, I doubt this will happen.
