Can we expect more racism?

READ BEFORE POSTING

In Skyrim one of the things that bugged me was how people didn't really react to the race you chose despite race being a clear issue in the universe. In ESO, however, each quest/ conversation will only be available to three races out of the 9 depending on which faction area it is in. My hope is that the race you chose will have a more notable impact on conversations with NPCs because they wouldn't have to record ten different responses for each race like in previous titles, only three. For example, if playing in the Dominion an Altmeri quest-giver would have one sentence out of his recorded lines that reacts to the players race, such as when giving the quest saying either:

(Altmer) I expect you will return victorious, brother

(Bosmer) What are you waiting for?

(Khajiit) Do not fail me, beast

I just wanted to know if other people expect this and their opinions of it because personally, with far less recording having to be done with only three possible races, I think it really should be in the game quite frequently but worry it may be overlooked despite its simplicity.

Some of Skyrim did, like the Orcs, but yes, what this world needs is a good splash of racism.

Of course, but I am referring specifically to the racism players experience personally based on their choice

A lot of people disliked me or being imperial, making rude remarks. Typically. Cut their head off. I was thankful they were racist.

I would think that any racist remarks from NPCs directed to the player would be written into NPC quest dialogue so as to remain poignant to the context of the conversation and not just thrown around willy-nilly. Maybe a random remark here and there from NPCs as you pass by too. But in general I would prefer to see this used in a way doesn't make it annoying because you see it ALL the time.

They have already said that based on what race your character is the other races will treat you differently. So expect there to be racism in the game.

Yes racial differences should be shown well in the game. And they will be at least when it's about the (role)players. In TESO I have to tolerate ash-skins and lizards on our lands but don't expect me to be too kind or polite for such untrustworthy beings. There's only one reason why we allied with them - we hate elves and their pet cats more than them.

we share many things, but this is not your land as you have assumed. we own the entire region and will be in control of it with a soft glove covered iron fist.

youll do as your told and go fetch the throne of cryadiil as instructed so we can enjoy our alliance buffs. you nords as well as all races will succumb to enslavement in the future as is depicted in the singl player game called morrowind.

thankyou,

now run along.

Its not anoying, its part of the world.. Either people like you or they dont like you... If there was a faction system, it would allow your elf to get better standing with the Orcs and other races, but we dont know if there is such a faction system yet..
